These flowers are a symbol of faithfulness. The name comes from the flowers resemblance to a bird with orange wings and a beak of green or blue. They are also known as Crane flower and Strelitzia.

Selection and Care

Look for vibrantly coloured flowers with no damage. These tropical flowers do not like the cold. Cut a minimum of 2cm off the stem, strip the bottom leaves off, and put in cold water with a flower preservative. Change water daily for optimum lifespan.
