Different types of Celosia look completely different. Cockscomb celosia looks like a brain or coral and comes in vibrant colours such as red, yellow, orange, purple, bright pink and red. Other types look like grasses. Celosia is a native of Africa.

Selection and Care

Celosia do not open once they are cut. Choose brightly coloured bunches with green leaves and a firm stalk. Cut a minimum of 2cm off the stem, strip the bottom leaves off, and put in cold water with a flower preservative. Change water daily for optimum lifespan.
