Siam Tulip

The Siam tulip is not related to the tulip but to the ginger family including tumeric. It is a tropical plant native to Thailand and Cambodia. It can grow as an indoor plant as well as sold as cut flowers.
Selection and Storage
Choose Flowers with firm stalks and fresh open flowers. Cut a minimum of 2cm off the stem, strip the bottom leaves off, and put in cold water with a flower preservative. Change water daily for optimum lifespan.
