These are a Sub-tropical fruit with a custardy taste. The fruit has bumpy, pale green skin.
Selection, Storage and Availability
Ready to eat when the skin yields with gentle pressure. Slightly black on the skin is also fine. Handle and store carefully as the skin is easily bruised.Do not store in the fridge. Store at room temperature.
To eat, simply cut in half and scoop out the flesh.
