Feijoa
About, Selection and Storage
Similar taste to a guava with sweet soft texture like a papaya or pawpaw. This dull green oval  fruit is native to South America but now grows widely in New Zealand. Choose firm unblemished feijoas with green to yellow/green skin. Ripen at room temperature and then store in the refrigerator. Feijoa's have a smell like a guava when ripe.
